Condeco SCIM API

Introduction to the Condeco SCIM API

SCIM, or System for Cross-domain Identity Management, is an open standard for a set of API endpoints that enable automation of user provisioning. SCIM communicates between identity providers supporting SCIM (such as Azure Active Directory) and service providers requiring user identity information (such as Condeco).

Condeco’s SCIM compliant API enables communication with SCIM compatible systems providing user identity information, such as Azure Active Directory.

Our SCIM API uses the SCIM 2.0 protocol which provides a defined schema for representing users and groups, and a RESTful API to run CRUD operations on those users and groups.

The Condeco SCIM integration is certified for Azure Active Directory.

Key benefits of the Condeco SCIM API

Maintaining user identities across multiple platforms can be time-consuming and prone to inconsistencies. With the SCIM API, admins no longer need to manually create and delete user accounts in Condeco, saving valuable time. Since data is transferred automatically, the risk of error is also reduced.

  • Reduce costs and complexity of user management
Maintaining your users all in one place can save hours of administrative time. Manage Condeco user identities in your existing cloud-based applications and services and apply your existing authentication, authorization, and privacy models.
  • Standardization of provisioning
SCIM streamlines identity management processes and enables systems to communicate with each other in near-to-real time, ensuring user data is consistent across all platforms.
  • Improve productivity
Save time and effort by automating the onboarding/offboarding of employees.
  • Enhanced security and user experience
SCIM makes user data more secure and simplifies the user experience by automating the user identity lifecycle management process.
  • Enable enterprise scalability
As your organization scales and your employee count grows, the SCIM API provides some relief in assuring that user provisioning is taken care of and ghost user accounts are prevented.
