Workspace types for meeting spaces

Categorize meeting spaces into ‘workspace types’ and enable your users to specify exactly the type of space they need to book when collaborating with colleagues. Workspace types for meeting spaces can be meeting rooms, training rooms, huddle spaces, or cafeterias, etc. - any type of space where people meet in groups.

A 'meeting room' workspace type is available by default and if no additional workspace types are created, all meeting spaces default to the ‘meeting room’ workspace type.

Create workspace types for Meeting spaces for multiple-occupancy spaces and when you want to offer booking time slots of 5 minutes (or more).

How to create Workspace types for meeting spaces

  1. Navigate to Application Setup > Workspace types and select the Meeting spaces tab

The attributes selected for a workspace type can be applied to a meeting space of that workspace type when it is created/edited in Resource Admin. Users can specify attributes they need when searching for available meeting spaces.

Removing attributes from a workspace type will also remove the attributes from all resources set as that workspace type!
