Connectivity

The Condeco desk booking screens support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac dual-band, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

The operation of the desk booking screens without Internet access is not supported.

The desk booking screens are managed through a cloud service and need internet access before they can be activated and for their continued operation. The same is true even if Condeco Workspace Booking is deployed on-premise.

Allowlists

If you use allowlists or denylists you must allow access to the fully qualified domains listed in the domain allowlist. Learn more about the domain allowlists

Authentication

The screens support SSIDs authentication with WPA2-PSK security or no password SSIDs. PEAP is supported by desk booking screens on v8.1.39 or later.

Wi-Fi Network Deployment

Condeco do not supply any Wi-Fi infrastructure or access points. Connectivity for the devices must be available and managed by the relevant customer teams.

Dedicated SSID

Customers can create a new dedicated SSID or use an existing Wi-Fi SSID with a WPA2-PSK password. This network will only require access to the Condeco Workspace Booking solution and to some cloud endpoints, so the SSID can be segregated on a VLAN if required.

Guest Wi-Fi with MAC Authentication Bypass

The screens can be supplied with documented MAC addresses which can be used to authorize the devices on OPEN guest Wi-Fi networks. The devices cannot authenticate to web-page based guest Wi-Fi solutions.
