Adding / Editing Request Types

Overview

Whether you add or edit a request type, a separate dialog box opens. 

  1. Enter Request Type information:

  • Name the request type

  • Select the type of content: User, Asset, or None

  • The Require To options can be enabled to force requestors to select a destination room or, in the case of parking spaces, a destination parking space.

  • Select a type of move: Move, New Hire, or Termination.

  1. Choose a center to which the Request Type applies using the drop-down menu. The de
fault is All Centers but you can select a specific center.

  2. Select tasks that potentially accompany this type of move request.

  3. Use the Form Builder to construct the request form. Select data fields from the drop-down menu and then click the green Add Icon.png icon to add the fields to the form.

  4. The fields appear in the Form Builder. Click to toggle the Required/Not Required option for the data fields. Click the red Close Iconx.png to remove fields from the form.

  5. A form preview appears to the right of the Form Builder.

  6. When you are done, click OK to save changes to the request type. Click Cancel to exit without saving changes.
