Organizing Users in Hippo

User permissions in Hippo are important and should be set up carefully. They determine what each user can do and see inside the software.

We generally suggest setting up five types: System Admin, Facility Admin, Resource, Basic Submitter, and Requester. Whether your organization needs one type or all five is up to you. Regardless of the number of types you end up with, they are all customizable. And even after they've been set, you can always go back and change them.
