Unable to Connect to WMDC

If you are unable to connect your PDA to Windows Media Device Center (WMDC) after all of the other fixes are exhausted, try the following.

 

  1. Exit all iOffice Apps on the PDA, and tap the bottom-middle right-hand of the screen until they see the Tools button on the bottom right hand side. Click Tools and then click Exit.

  2. After clicking Exit, enter "symbol " as the password.

  3. Afterwards click the Windows button on the bottom left-hand side, and then have them go to Settings>System>USBConfig.

  4. Next, have the client select USB Client Mode. Click OK and then reboot the PDA.

  5. If it still does not work, return to Start>Settings>Connections>USB to PC, and then uncheck Enable Advanced Network functionality. Reboot the PDA afterwards, and check to see if it connects to WMDC.
