This article will help you manage your Category Attributes - specifically, the Standard fields that are included with every Category.

All changes to your Asset Settings will impact ALL users of the program

  Settings > Module Settings > Assets > Category Settings    

1. Log into your ManagerPlus account and click on the Settings icon located on the left.
2.  Click on the Assets icon under the Module Settings section.
3.  You can select between the three sections: 
   
4. Select Category Settings

Each Category has six standard fields available to it:

• In Service Date
• Manufacturer
• Model
• Year
• Serial # (With Categories under the FLEET Class, this will appear as VIN #)
• Vendor

By default, all six are made visible for any Asset assigned to that Category.  These are all optional fields, when creating/editing an Asset.

  To make a Standard Field NOT Visible    

• Click the Visible icon  and change it to Not Visible 

  To make a Standard Field mandatory    

• Click the Not Required icon  and change it to Required
