Defining the Default Language in Hummingbird App

The Hummingbird app can be localized into any of the languages currently supported on the desktop version of iOFFICE. This feature is activated when the language settings are changed on your iOS or Android device. For example, if you are a native French speaker, you can simply adjust the language of your iOS device to French. Once the language preference is set, the new language setting is reflected in the Hummingbird app the next time the app is opened.

To define the default language preference for the Hummingbird app on an iOS device, perform the following steps.

  1. Tap the Settings icon to access the Settings menu.

  2. Tap the General option. The General menu displays.

  3. Tap the Language & Region option. The  Language & Region menu displays.

  4. Select the language you want to define as the default language for your device using the iPod/iPad Language field, and tap the Done button. The Change to (Language) message displays.

  5. Tap the Change to (Language) button to confirm your selection. The default language for the device is updated and, if supported, is used when displaying text and options in the Hummingbird app.
