Annotated Layers

The Anno Layers icon allows you to view a variety of different layers for your drawings. As an example, if you wanted to view the fire escapes on a specified floor, you would enable the Fire Escape layer.

Enabling an Annotated Layer

If you want to enable an annotated layer for your floor plans, perform the following steps:

  1. Tap the Anno Layers icon on the desktop toolbar. The Annotated Layers screen opens. 

  2. Tap the icon to the right of the layer you want to enable. The selected layer is enable. 

 

Note: If enabled, you will see the icon to the right of the layer surrounded by green (the icon itself is on the right of the icon field).

Disabling an Annotated Layer

If you want to disable an annotated layer for your floor plans, perform the following steps:

  1. Tap the Anno Layers icon on the desktop toolbar. The Annotated Layers screen opens. 

  2. Tap the icon to the right of the layer you want to disable. The selected layer is disabled. 

 

Note: If your layer is disabled, you will see the icon to the right of the layer is on the left-hand side of the icon field (and not surrounded by a green color).

Editing an Annotation Layer

In order to edit an annotation layer, perform the following steps.

  1. Select the Anno Layers icon on the desktop toolbar. The Annotated Layers screen opens.

  2. Tap the Edit link. The Edit Layer screen opens.

  3. Tap the layer you want to edit. The Edit Annotation Layer screen opens.

  4. Edit the Layer Name field by entering the updated name. This is an optional step.

  5. Edit the Visibility field by selecting who should be able to view this layer (there will be a list of available options). This is an optional step.
