Floorplans - Drafting and Mapping

• The Serraview Support team completes the drafting and mapping of floorplans in Serraview.

Floorplans - Set up Workpoints and Spaces

• Configure workpoints and spaces to show availability in Locator. You can use the Workpoint Import to update the workpoint and space's availability, refer to Workpoint Import and Locator.

Client Infrastructure - Network Rules

• Confirm network rules are in place within the client infrastructure for the new building, refer to SVLive2 Network Access and Ports.

SVLive2 Configuration - Floor Level Switches

• Configure the Serraview Switch Scanning Service, refer to Switch Configuration.

Wi-Fi

SVLive obtains Wi-Fi data from Serraview's Wi-Fi Location Service.

• Map Wi-Fi access points including BSSIDs against floorplans within Space Planning. For more information on WAP mapping, refer Serraview Wi-Fi Overview.

Wire up - Test and Validate

Serraview's Wireup Tool allows non-technical auditors to quickly and accurately audit locations to connect (or "wire-up") switch ports to their physical locations. Before you schedule the wire up, test the wire up of one desk per floor and validate the switch details. For information on the wire up configuration and prerequisites, review the entire section of SVLive and Wireup Configuration.
