New rooms require a mailbox to be added for the Room Booking Service to make reservations in its calendar. The room’s calendar must also be made available for Serraview Room Booking account to access. The room must then also be associated with that mailbox account in the Serraview application.
Impact on Service
A room without a mailbox associated with it will show up as “Unknown Availability” in Locator and cannot be booked. A room without an accessible calendar will also show up as “Unknown Availability”. An error message may display when navigating to a floor with a room that has not been added correctly. Rooms booked from outside Locator may not show as booked in Locator
