Why can I not find a person's name?

There are a variety of reasons that a person's details may not appear in Serraview, such as:
 

Possible Issue

Description and Solution

Incorrect Name

Check spelling and name of person, they may be using a married or maiden name or have a preferred name they use day-to-day that differs from their birth name.

Contractor

A contractor is not part of the core people data loaded into the Serraview system. We recommend you complete the following:

  1. Apply the Contractor Retention Status.
  2. Include appropriate comments.

New Starter

New starter has not yet been imported into Serraview people data. We recommend you complete the following:

  1. Apply the New Starter Retention Status.
  2. Include appropriate comments.

The People data is refreshed on a scheduled basis and you will most likely find the new starter's name in Serraview after the people data is updated.

Extended Leave

Some companies have an internal policy of making a person inactive on their HR system if they are on extended leave. This action can sometimes influence whether their name is uploaded into the Serraview system. If you cannot find the person' name, we recommend you complete the following:

  1. Apply the Extended Leave or Other Retention Status
  2. Include appropriate comments.
