Turn on the Approval Threshold for Employee Imports

When you are importing employee details into SpaceIQ(SiQ) either manually or via SFTP you may want your Admin to turn on the Approval Threshold for Employee Imports setting as this will trigger an approval process when the set threshold is exceeded.

This is used to support data integrity during employee imports. Setting a manual approval ensures an automated import process does not accidentally make large unwanted changes, such as unseating/deleting multiple employee records.

From SiQ Web App, complete the following.

  1. In the top-right corner, click your Profile and then click Settings.
  2. From the left menu, click Company Settings.
  3. Toggle the Approval threshold for employee imports setting to ON.
  4. Set the approval threshold percentage and the setting is saved automatically.

The threshold is used by SiQ to determine the percentage of changes allowed by an import. If the percentage of changes exceeds the threshold then the import is placed in a pending state and an email notification is sent to all Admins. Also, a notification displays on the SiQ Dashboard.
