Step 1. Active the PeopleHR Integration in SiQ

From the SiQ Web App, complete the following:

1. Click your Profile Name in the top right corner.
2. Click Settings. The Settings screen displays.
3. From the left menu, click Integrations.
4. From the Third Party Integrations area, click the READ MORE link. The Integrations screen displays.

You can either search for PeopleHR in the Search field or navigate to the PeopleHR tile. To navigate complete the following:

1. From the left menu, click Employee Import.
2. For PeopleHR, click the Activate button.

The PeopleHR dialog displays and it contains the Import tab.

You will need to copy various details from PeopleHR to enable the employee import functionality.

Step 2. Set up PeopleHR

From the PeopleHR Admin Console, complete the following:

1. Under settings select API option to generate a new token.
2. From API page select 'Generate a new API key.
3. API Key Generator page supply key name 'SiQ'.
4. Select 'Employee' option and select 'Get All Employee Detail' and 'Get Employee Detail By Id'.
5. Optional Step. Use QueryBuilder API to fetch HR data.

From SiQ, complete the following:

1. In the Token field, paste the access token. The access token is used for accessing the PeopleHR API from your PeopleHR Admin Console.
2. In the PeopleHR custom attributes field, enter the custom field name(s) mapped to the SiQ app in the form of JSON. For example, '{"location":"employee_location"}'
3. In the PeopleHR Query Builder Query Name field, paste the query builder query name. Note that query builder name only is used if employees API is not available for security reasons.
4. Click the Activate button.

The employee data update from PeopleHR will occur every 24 hours.
