Ports and IP Address Configuration for Teem Products

Teem Port and IP Address Requirements

In order for Teem to best communicate with a customer's servers, specific ports and IP Addresses need to be configured for optimal efficiency.

It is the responsibility of the customer to make these configuration changes.

Port Configuration

For organizations with certain firewalls and security measures, the following port configurations are necessary for ideal Teem communication connections.

Port Service or Protocol Name
80 Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)
443 Secure Sockets Layer (HTTPS)
123 Network Time Protocol (NTP)
2195 Apple Push Notification Service
2196 Apple Push Notification Service
5223 Apple Push Notification Service
5228 Android Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) Port
5229 Android Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) Port
5230 Android Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) Port

IP Address Configuration

For organizations with certain firewalls and security measures, the following IP address configurations are necessary for ideal Teem communication connections.

FOR MICROSOFT EXCHANGE ACCOUNTS: With some security configurations, firewalls may end up blocking essential inbound and outbound communication. If the above ports have been opened, a calendar is selected for each room, and no calendar information is being shown, you must ensure that Teem can communicate with your Microsoft Exchange server.

Your Microsoft Exchange server will need to be configured for an inbound connection for Hypertext Transfer Protocol (http) Teem communications.

  • 54.244.248.254 for port 443

In addition, Teem has created two dedicated IP addresses to accept push notifications from Microsoft Exchange, which will allow us to update your devices as soon as events are created or changed.

Your Microsoft Exchange server will need to be configured for an outbound connection for Hypertext Transfer Protocol (http) Teem communications.

  • 104.16.52.95 for port 443
  • 104.16.53.95 for port 443

If there are multiple firewalls in your organization, these details may need to be added in multiple places.
