High-Density Mail Option - 2016 August

You can now check in batches of paper mail in a single scan using the iOffice Mail App. For mail operations that handle paper mail for a large number of users, such as universities, the iOffice Mail App has a new feature to allow you to scan a barcode assigned to a single user rather than each piece of mail, saving time and increasing efficiency when processing daily mail for a large number of users.

Suppose a student receives six pieces of mail. Rather than checking in each item individually, the mail operator simply locates the user's barcode in the file system, inserts all six mail items into the folder, and scans the barcode using the Screen Shot 2016-08-15 at 1.38.06 PM.png (Magic Scan) feature. The student receives an automatic notification that their mail is ready for pickup, allowing them to retrieve the items at their earliest convenience.

This enhancement provides operators with an efficient method for handling letters and envelopes in high-density mail centers, allowing them to provide service to a large number of users.
