Adding / Editing Models

The same type of window opens whether you are adding or editing a model.

  1. Enter information about the asset including type, manufacturer, model name, model number, and recommended volume. Bold fields are required.

  2. Click the Parts tab to associate parts with this piece of equipment. 

  3. Click the green New Part field and select a part from the drop-down menu. If the part is not listed, add it as a new part in the Parts function, listed below.

  4. Click the  to remove a part.

  5. Add documents or photos related to the asset on the Attachments tab. This can be useful to store instruction manuals, photos, printer drivers, etc.

  6. Click the Choose File button to navigate on your computer and select the file.

  7. Provide a name and description.

  8. Click the Upload File button.

  9. Click OK to save changes and exit or Cancel to exit without saving changes.
