There are two ways to move users using the Space Manager:
-
Visual User Moves
-
User Moves with Room Searching
Virtual User Move
This method of moving a user can be useful when you are playing around with room arrangements and do not have a particular list to work from.
-
Click a room. In the Room Inspector, you can see details of the room including current occupants and assets.
-
To move an occupant, click the occupant’s name then select Move from the menu that appears. Two additional features in that menu that are useful:
-
Vacate – Allows you to remove the user from this room.
-
Edit – Allows you to edit user information, which will open in another window. Pop-up windows must be enabled for this feature to work.
-
-
Then click the room to which you want to move the occupant or asset. As you do that, a line appears on the screen graphically indicating the potential move.
-
If you want to move a person or asset to another building or a different floor, drag the line to the building icon in the Floor section of the task bar and select the floor or building from the provided list.
