Add or Edit Job Status Codes

Level: Site Administrator

The status codes are used to manage the Copy Job progress through the Request Queue.

Access Copy Job Status Codes

  1. Navigate to Admin > Copy > Status Codes. The Status Codes screen displays.
  2. From the top-right corner, select the relevant center.

The following columns display:

  • Name - Allows you to view the status code name. 
  • Sort Order - Allows you to view and edit the sort order of the available status codes. 
  • Active - Displays whether or not the vendor is active. 
  • Starting Status - This is the starting default status when you create a new copy job. 
  • Actions - Allows you to edit a selected status code. 

Add a Copy Job Status Code

In order to add a status code, perform the following steps:

  1. Click the add status link.

  1. In the Name field, enter the name of the status code.
  2. From the Starting Status drop-down, select either Yes or No. If you select Yes then this indicates that the status code is the starting status.
  3. Click the Add button.

Edit a Copy Job Status Code

In order to edit a status code, perform the following steps:

  1. For the job status you want to edit, click the edit link. The Edit Job Status screen displays.

  1. In the Name field, enter the name of the status code.
  2. From the Starting Status drop-down, select either Yes or No. If you select Yes then this indicates that the status code is the starting status.
  3. Click the Update button.

Remove a Copy Job Status Code

If you no longer need a job status code it can be made inactive.

  1. For the job status you want to edit, click the edit link. The Edit Job Status screen displays.
  2. From the Active drop-down, select No.
  3. Click the Update button.
