Workplace Sensors Troubleshooting

The accuracy of your sensor data is only as good as the input available to your sensors. When sensors are first installed in your environment, we recommend you perform some internal tests to ensure each sensor is installed in a manner that allows for the highest level of consistent performance.

If there are discrepancies between your observed utilization and what your sensors are reporting for your environment, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can perform to determine the best resource to contact to correct the issue. If you are still having difficulty, work with your sensor vendor to determine the cause of the problem and potential issues.

  • Eptura development to check the API Key.

Situation

Some data is coming across and some is missing.

Resolution

Check the following:

  1. The Sensor mapping is correct in Eptura Workplace, see Configure Workplace Sensors.
  2. The physical sensor device working, the device maybe faulty and need replacing.

Situation

No sensor data is flowing to Eptura Workplace.

Resolution

Check the following:

  1. The Sensor Vendor needs to activate the interface to to send data to Eptura Workplace.
  2. The physical sensor device working, the device maybe faulty and need replacing.
