‘Room Booking Locator Configuration’ Section
The section will only be visible if your instance has the 'SVLive Room Availability' module enabled, and you have the required secured action.
- Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Room Booking Configuration.
- The settings to configure are:

Allow Space Reservation check box |
Serraview Only Configuration Globally enable/disable space reservations. Note: That spaces may still individually disable reservations, and users must have the required secured action to reserve a space. |

Do Not Use Utilization Data for Room Availability check box |
Serraview Only Configuration If checked, space availability will be determined by reservation status alone and utilization data will be ignored. This prevents spaces from becoming unavailable due to occupancy alone, they must be reserved. For more information, refer to ‘Use Manual Occupancy Data’ option. |

Serraview Only Configuration Globally enable/disable the display of room availability. |

Room Availability Interval (minutes) field |
Serraview Only Configuration Enter the number of minutes. Interval size for availability 'blocks' in the room availability timeline in Locator. For example:

Room Availability Reservation Duration (minutes) field |
System Administrator Enter the number of minutes in a list. For example 15,30,60. Each duration is comma separated. There are no restrictions on the number of options you can put in the field, however we recommended number of duration options is 3 to 4 for better user interface visualization and usability. This lists of default booking durations displayed to user in Locator. For example:

Room Availability Timeline Range (minutes) field |
Serraview Only Configuration Enter in the number of minutes. The Locator displays what is current therefore the timeline will always start from the current time the person is viewing the Locator and then up to the set room availability timeline range. For example: If a person is uses the Locator at 10:00 am and the room availability timeline range is set to 480 minutes. Then the availability timeline will display from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. System Administrator Enter in the meeting subjetc. Meeting subject for all meetings reserved via Serraview Locator. |

Serraview Only Configuration When checked, attendees and meeting subject are hidden from users for meetings flagged as private. |
3. Click the Update button.
